Hey
all! So, I survived my first week and I am now in week two. Yay! I'm still
trying to master the dreaded roller set. I will get them with practice. Today I
actually learned the proper way to blow dry hair. And believe me there is a
wrong and a right way. Over the weekend I tried to blow dry my manikin Debra's
hair and it came out so much different from when I did it with the techniques
shown to me today. I will show you some pictures of the difference.
Up
above are two pictures front and back of the blow dry I did at home. Before I
learned the proper way to blow dry as you can see it stood very frizzy. Parting
the hair properly is a big key to a good blow dry. As well as drying the ends
slightly so that the hair is not dripping wet. The way your hold your tools is
a big help as well.
Now
look at the difference. This one obviously was done at school with the proper
teachings. It came out so much better. Fewer frizzes and the front have way
more volume and style. All I needed to complete this look was some shine spray
or serum. But this was just a learning process so we didn't have to focus on
that yet. But this came out great I’m very pleased at the difference.
I hope you enjoyed my tidbit on blow
drying. If you guys want me to show you the techniques I learned and how to
properly part hair and blow dry let me know in the comments please. I will blog step by
step on how to do it.
Also I have to go shopping for more
supplies so coming soon will be a mini haul on my goodies I will be buying from
the beauty supply store.
Till next time guys, Buy!
